UTD Recognized as a Top Performer in the 2022 Sustainable Campus Index

The University of Texas at Dallas was once again recognized as a top preforming institution under the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS [Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System] ) by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE [Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education] ) in their 2022 Sustainable Campus Index. UT Dallas was in a three-way tie this year for 9th place in Campus Engagement, earning a score of 96.4% compared to the 67.3% national average. UTD also tied for 6th place in Diversity & Affordability, with a score of 91.6% compared to the 70.8% national average among participating institutions.

The Office of Sustainability’s mission is to engage the UT Dallas community as a catalyst and champion for environmental stewardship and social responsibility while fostering a culture of sustainability evident in all aspects of the campus experience.
