Where can I find more information on how to get involved?
Staff, Faculty and Students can find dates and details for various upcoming opportunities on Engage UTD. Log in via SSO [Secure Sign On] with your UTD NetID and password to view the information and sign up for events, as applicable. All dates and details will also be shared in the monthly Sustainability Newsletter.
Students can participate in Sustainability Honors, where they can get recognized for their participation in a variety of engagements, including coursework, volunteering, leadership, internships, and more. Receive sustainability graduation regalia for completion of the program.
Staff, Faculty and Students can participate in a free Sustainability Stewards certification. This virtual certification is an overview of basic sustainability principles, sustainability on campus, and more. At the end of this training, participants will receive the Sustainability Steward designation, certifying that they understand basic principles and concepts of sustainability at UTD, as well as a certificate and a Sustainability Steward sticker to display.
Staff and Faculty can participate in the Green Office Certification Program, designed to be an engaging tool to help assess how “green” offices on campus operate on a department, office and individual level. The Green Office Certification Program is a tool that can be used to help your office in adopting sustainable practices!
