Pocket Prairie Seed Collection

On October 3, students worked to restore and maintain a small piece of original Texas Blackland Prairie known as the Pocket Prairie. Located on the UT Dallas campus near the Facilities Management building, this small but vital piece of our local ecosystem supports several native plants and their pollinators. As part of its restoration, the land was cleared of trash and invasive plants, and native plant seeds were collected for future use.
